Director of Innovation, Strategy and Planning
Monte Erfourth is Madison Springfield’s Director of Innovation for Strategy and Planning. He has extensive experience leading large multinational organizations in planning and implementing global strategies. He is well-versed in international security affairs, international relations, public administration, and political science. Previously as an entrepreneur, Mr. Erfourth launched Erfourth Enterprises Inc., a successful startup where he oversaw all aspects of business development, management, and innovation. He is a Yale fellow and teaches courses on Great Power Competition. His educational credentials include an undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Florida, a Master’s in Political Science from Louisiana State University, and a Certification from the U.S. Army War College in Defense Strategy. Mr. Erfourth authored a book on the late Eric Voegelin (20th Century Political Scientist) and published a number of articles on national security. He is a retired Army Colonel and 16-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps with 27 years of operations, logistics, planning and strategic leadership.
