The internal research division of a global financial services firm was evaluating Argentina as possible target market for a portfolio of new financial products. MSI was engaged to provide guidance on the statutory and legal environment and to conduct survey research of potential Argentine customers.
MSI assembled a team comprised of research analysts and local survey researchers to carry out the project. More than 400 industry executives were interviewed over a three-month period.
The research revealed previously unrecognized regulatory nuances of the Argentine market that were put in place during the 2002 financial crisis. These insights were incorporated into the financial services and solutions offered to potential Argentine customers and the client was able to achieve a successful launch.
